About Eduglobal

Since 2006 we have offered clinical education experiences of 8 to 12 weeks in seven renowned rehabilitation centers in Italy. Our Italian CIs speak English and are trained in use of the electronic CPI.  We are a non-profit health education management company, placing physical therapy students from American DPT programs in clinical education experiences that offer opportunity to learn excellent clinical skills in a healthcare delivery system that offers universal, comprehensive, single-payer, socially supported, constitutionally guaranteed care in a unique and welcoming culture.

Brett Windsor, PT, PhD, MPA


Brett Windsor graduated as a physiotherapist from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, in 1994. Prior to coming to the US, Brett worked in sports medicine in Australia and the United Kingdom. Brett became APTA board certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) in 2000, completed the NAIOMT Clinical Fellowship in Manual Therapy in 2003, and graduated to fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (FAAOMPT) in 2004. Following eight years as assistant professor at DPT programs with Pacific University and Campbell University, Brett moved to Chicago  where he is currently the Chief Clinical Officer with ATI Physical. Brett was the lead instructor of manual therapy at the Fondazione Turati rehabilitation center in Gavinana, Tuscany between 2007 and 2011 and he has since traveled extensively throughout Italy in support of continuing teaching activities and clinical education.
Brett’s research interests are clinical reasoning, spinal manipulation and the validation of the manual therapy clinical approach to evaluation. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Portland State University and a PhD from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah.

Linda Bartalesi, PT

Vice President, Coordinator of Interns

Linda works with Eduglobal students and the host rehabilitation facilities to assure coordination of all aspects of the clinical education experiences. She graduated in 2006 from the University of Florence with a laurea in physiotherapy. She subsequently completed a six-year osteopathic manual therapy program at Florence’s Scuola Italiana di Osteopatia e Terapie Manuali (SIOTEMA). She has 10 years’ experience as an orthopedic and neurological physiotherapist and CI at Fondazione F. Turati, located in Gavinana, Italy. Her post-graduate training includes study in myofascial techniques and the McKenzie approach to treatment of the spine. Linda is an avid hiker and snowboarder. She lives with her son Silvio in Abetone, a ski resort in the Apennine Alps.







Alyssa Walz, DPT

President, Alumni Advisory Board

Alyssa is the founding President of the Eduglobal Associates Alumni Advisory Board, a group of dedicated alumni who help orient students to their Italian experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009. She completed a clinical education experience in Italy at Istituto Prosperius Tiberino in 2014, the same year that she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. She discovered her love and passion for working with children during a clinical experience at Tender Ones Therapy Services (TOTS) in Dacula, Georgia. Currently, she practices at TOTS, providing intensive and aquatic pediatric therapy. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling the world, paddle boarding, tennis, running, yoga, spending time with friends and family, and caring for her dog, a Maltese named Magdelina.

Jenni Hutchinson, DPT

Vice President, Alumni Advisory Board

Jenni completed her undergraduate degree (2014) from MSU-Bozeman with a B.S. in Biochemistry and went on to achieve her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree (2017) from Pacific University. She was born and raised in the great state of Montana but has since fallen in love with travel and exploration both as a hobby and with her career as a physical therapist. She had the opportunity to complete a clinical experience in Italy at Fondazione F. Turati and Villa Pineta in the summer of 2016, in which she focused on treatment of patients with neurological involvement and subacute cardiovascular impairments. She started her career as a physical therapist in outpatient orthopedics, but has since moved on to Home Health as a travel PT. Italy holds a place near and dear to Jenni’s heart. She spent extra time following her experience with Eduglobal exploring the country and getting married to her husband in the town of Perugia. In her free time, Jenni enjoys traveling and exploring new cities and countries with her travel buddy and husband, cooking and eating good food with good wine, taking her dog to the dog park, running, kayaking and doing yoga.
