Brett Windsor, PT, PhD, MPA

President

Brett graduated as a physiotherapist from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, in 1994. Before coming to the U.S., Brett worked in sports medicine in Australia and the United Kingdom. Brett became APTA board certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) in 2000, completed the NAIOMT Clinical Fellowship in Manual Therapy in 2003, and graduated with a fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (FAAOMPT) in 2004. Brett has traveled and taught extensively in Europe and Africa. He has been in academia since 2008 and is currently a professor of physical therapy at Northern Arizona University. He is also a senior vice president of clinical excellence with Physical Rehabilitation Network. Brett has a passion for enabling students to embark on international opportunities. Brett lives in Southwest Florida with his wife, Susan.

Linda Bartalesi, PT

Vice President of European Operations

Linda works with Eduglobal students and the host rehabilitation facilities to ensure coordination of all aspects of the clinical education experiences. She graduated in 2006 from the University of Florence with a laurea in physiotherapy. She subsequently completed a six-year osteopathic manual therapy program at Florence’s Scuola Italiana di Osteopatia e Terapie Manuali (SIOTEMA). She has 20 years of experience as an orthopedic and neurological physiotherapist and CI at Fondazione F. Turati, located in Gavinana, Italy. Her post-graduate training includes study in myofascial techniques and the McKenzie approach to treatment of the spine. Linda is an avid hiker and snowboarder. She lives with her son Silvio in Abetone, a ski resort in the Apennine Alps.

Alyson Tisthammer, DPT

Vice President of US Operations

Aly is a 2022 DPT graduate of the University of Minnesota and was a student in the Eduglobal program, attending an international clinical experience in Lugano, Switzerland. Aly has a passion for international clinical education and joined the Eduglobal team in 2023 to pursue her interest in continuing to grow the Eduglobal organization. Aly is responsible for logistical operations and student coordination in the United States. She currently lives in the Bay Area of California and is developing her expertise in orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapy. When she is not working, she enjoys hiking and traveling.

Riccardo Zanola, PT

Senior Director of Student Services

Riccardo has been a dedicated member of the Eduglobal team since 2012. His primary role involves assisting students throughout Italy, ensuring their seamless internship experiences. Beyond clinical site duties, he oversees accommodations, car rentals, and other essential aspects crucial for a successful experience. Riccardo earned his degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Florence in 2009. Presently, he serves as a shoulder therapist at a private practice in Pistoia. Riccardo maintains an active lifestyle outside of work, frequently exercising at the gym. He also indulges in watching movies and appreciating fine wines. Residing in Prato, he enjoys proximity to Florence, where he finds inspiration in the region’s rich cultural offerings.
