About Eduglobal

Since 2006 we have offered clinical education experiences of 8 to 12 weeks in five renowned rehabilitation centers in central Italy. Our Italian CIs speak English and are trained in use of the electronic CPI.  We are a non-profit health education management company, placing physical therapy students from American DPT programs in internships that are hands-on and both culturally and intellectually fulfilling.

Michael Arnall


Mike founded Eduglobal Associates when he was Chair of the DPT program at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA.

Since 2006, he has cooperated with clinical education faculty at numerous American universities to provide internships at several Italian rehabilitation facilities, including Fondazione Turati in Tuscany, where he worked in 1981-82.

Mike has an advanced MS in orthopedic physical therapy and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He is the founding partner of Camco Physical and Occupational Therapy in Johnstown, PA, now in its fourth decade. He has a BS in physical therapy from CUNY’s Hunter School of Health Sciences and also has a BA in English and philosophy from Yale University.

Jaclyn Stoerzbach

Vice President, Coordinator of Client Services

Jaclyn works with university ACCE/DCEs to assure our compliance with program standards and priorities.

She received both her doctorate in physical therapy (2013) and her bachelor of exercise science degree (2011) from St. Louis University. She was an intern in the neurological rehabilitation service at Istituto Prosperius Tiberino and is now a member of the Eduglobal Alumni Advisory Board.

She currently works at Mobilize Physical Therapy in Seattle, WA with an emphasis on outpatient orthopedics.

In her spare time Jaclyn loves to do go hiking, do yoga, play guitar and work in her community garden.

Linda Bartalesi

Vice President, Coordinator of Interns

Linda works with Eduglobal interns and the host rehabilitation facilities to assure coordination of all aspects of the internships.

She graduated in 2006 from the University of Florence with a laurea in physiotherapy. She subsequently completed a six-year osteopathic manual therapy program at Florence’s Scuola Italiana di Osteopatia e Terapie Manuali (SIOTEMA).

She has 10 years’ experience as an orthopedic and neurological physiotherapist and CI at Fondazione F. Turati, located in Gavinana, Italy. Her post-graduate training includes study in myofascial techniques and the McKenzie approach to treatment of the spine.

Linda is an avid hiker and snowboarder. She and her husband Mario live with their son Silvio in Abetone, a ski resort in the Apennine Alps.

Alyssa Walz

President, Alumni Advisory Board

Alyssa is the founding President of the Eduglobal Associates Alumni Advisory Board, a group of dedicated alumni who help orient interns to their Italian experience.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009. She completed an internship in Italy at Istituto Prosperius Tiberino in 2014, the same year that she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University.

She discovered her love and passion for working with children during a clinical experience at Tender Ones Therapy Services (TOTS) in Dacula, Georgia. Currently, she practices at TOTS, providing intensive and aquatic pediatric therapy.

In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling the world, paddle boarding, tennis, running, yoga, spending time with friends and family, and caring for her dog, a Maltese named Magdelina.

Raechel Bugner

Vice President, Alumni Advisory Board

Raechel completed both her undergrad (2012) and graduate (2014) degrees at Daemen College in Buffalo NY. In the winter of 2014, she had the opportunity to complete a clinical internship in Italy at Fondazione F. Turati during which she treated patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.

An avid runner, Raechel began working in NYC at Finish Line Physical Therapy with runners and triathletes in the fall of 2014 and completed the prestigious GIFT fellowship through the Gray Institute in the fall of 2015.

Currently, she is completing courses through the Postural Restoration Institute.

In her spare time, Raechel enjoys running marathons and half marathons, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
