Find your line through complexity. What's inside
Built for the moment before you decide.
80+ pathways · 14 regions
Clinical best practice pathways
Evidence-aligned pathways organised by region, from the cervical spine to the ankle, plus vestibular and concussion — each one showing the reasoning and the evidence behind it, so you can check it against what you're seeing.
Ask, then think
A clinical reasoning mentor
Talk a case through before you talk it through with your clinical instructor. The mentor asks the questions a good CI would and points you to the pathway and the evidence. It won't tell you what to do with a patient — that stays with you and your CI.
Chairside
The tools you reach for
A PROMIS calculator that shows its thresholds, a quick-reference view of each pathway that works between patients, and the CPT codes your US documentation will ask for when you get home. Favourites and recently viewed, so the ones you use are always one tap away.
For students
An unfamiliar system is exactly where reasoning gets tested.
Why it helps abroad
Same evidence, different setting
An Italian clinic won't run the way your last rotation did: different referral routes, different expectations, different paperwork. Meridian gives you a fixed point to reason from while everything around you changes — and the Italian version means you and your clinical instructor can look at the same pathway in your own languages.
What it costs
Free while you're on placement
Once you've accepted your placement, code EGU2027 gives you full access to Meridian until your placement ends, at no cost. After that you get the student rate for a year after your placement ends.
Using code EGU2027
1 · Sign up
Create a Meridian account with the email address EduGlobal has for you — your university or personal address — or sign in with Google using that address.
2 · Enter the code
Open the pricing screen, choose “Have an access code?” and enter EGU2027. We check your placement against our records.
3 · Confirm it's you
If you signed up with a password, we email you a 6-digit code to type in. Then Meridian is free until your placement ends.
For DPT programs
Support for your student's reasoning, not a substitute for supervision.
Meridian is clinical decision support: it lays out evidence-aligned options and the basis for each, for a clinician to weigh. It doesn't diagnose, predict outcomes or direct care, and on placement it sits beneath the clinical instructor, not beside them. Assessment still runs on your program's instrument, and the CI's judgment is the one that counts.
What it gives a student abroad is continuity: the same structure for thinking through a case in Pistoia as in the clinic they left. If you'd like to see it before recommending it to your students, we'll set you up with access.
About Meridian
Meridian is built by Brett Windsor, EduGlobal's president, on the NAIOMT clinical reasoning framework, and EduGlobal offers it free to the students it places. Meridian supports clinical reasoning; it does not replace your clinical instructor's judgment, your program's requirements or the rules of the site you're placed at.
