Housing choice out here is genuinely limited and a car is worth having whatever you choose, so there is less to gain from looking further afield than there would be in a city. A short drive from the accommodation, a rural guesthouse outside Castelnuovo. A car is strongly recommended — the valley cannot be covered on foot, and students typically return to the accommodation for the two-hour lunch break.
Accommodation is €200 p/wk per student. A car is worth having here, and rental runs about EUR 1,100 a month usually split between the students in your cohort — budget for it as a second line alongside rent.
