Martini Centro Medico (Lucca)

An outpatient orthopedic clinic that also treats neurological and pediatric patients, with aquatic therapy for children and the chance to observe surgery at the hospital nearby. Lucca is a walled Tuscan city famous for its intact Renaissance ramparts, with the coast a short drive away.

Where you could live

We arrange somewhere near the clinic for you. Housing choice out here is genuinely limited and a car is worth having whatever you choose, so there is less to gain from looking further afield than there would be in a city. Talk to us before arranging anything independently and we will tell you what works.

Getting to the clinic

A few minutes by bus or car. Not a walkable commute, so a car is worth considering, though the bus does run.

What it costs

Our accommodation is €1500 p/month (divided amongst students), and no car is needed. Students may arrange their own instead; in a town this size the saving is usually modest and the stock limited, so most take what we arrange. Talk to us first either way.

Costs are estimates, not quotes. They vary with housing, flights and exchange rates — please verify independently before you commit. Car guidance is advice, not a requirement. Check current local transport before you decide.
