Switzerland is expensive and our estimate reflects that honestly. Some students look further along the rail line, or across the Italian border, where rent drops considerably — Swiss regional trains are frequent enough to make that work. Weigh the saving against a longer day and a cross-border leg that Swiss transit passes do not cover.

Our accommodation runs about EUR 1,000 a month. Switzerland is expensive and there is no cheap option close by; some students look across the Italian border where rent is much lower, at the cost of a cross-border commute. Ask us and we will talk it through.
